Paradoxes: Reflections and Critical Opinions (PROCS)
It is a blog created by a group of Haitian researchers made up of sociologists, literary critics, historians and geographers.

Objective, mission and values

Produce, promote and disseminate knowledge and critical reflections on social, political and cultural issues in contemporary societies with a focus on Haitian society. These reflections will be produced in Portuguese, Haitian and French in order to encourage constructive analyzes around the issues mentioned above, aiming to contribute to enriching public debates on major contemporary challenges.

Our mission is to promote critical thinking and reflections for a better understanding of contemporary societies, Haitian in particular.

Commitment to honesty, transparency, ethics in all publications to be made. Ensure respect for the plurality of ideas, opinions and the quality of the content and analyzes to be presented, thus contributing to a more informed and politically critical society.

Dieumettre Jean
PhD in Literary Studies from Universidade Estadual Paulista-UNESP, Master in Literature from UNIFESP and Degree in Literature from UNICAMP.

Frantz Rousseau God
Doctor in sociology, master in social sciences, bachelor in sociology, anthropology and political science.

Ismane Desrosiers
